Why a Paragon kit?
A Paragon is always what you want it to be. That means that you have the utmost in flexibility in terms of utilizing our buying power, tendering and building experience to make every dollar go as far as possible within the confines of your kit.
A stick-frame built home, is a valid choice for ensuring excellent value for your dollar. Our own family of home packages is designed for the client seeking something “off-spec”, whether it is related to design, energy efficiency, materials or construction techniques. A Paragon kit is engineered from scratch to meet these needs and includes full design conceptualization and plans, and a broad selection of material and construction techniques.
Here are some of the key benefits:
Building System Flexibility We can kit up your Paragon to meet the requirements of any building system or process such concrete and steel, conventional stick-frame, hybrid, timber-frame, timber hybrid and engineered log wall systems.
Choice of Materials Your are unlimited in your choices of material selection. We use our experience in construction and tendering to net you the best value on every element – from 2X4’s to windows and doors. While we carry a wide range of material selections and our own “spec” package, we are always willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that your Paragon Home kit meets your needs first.
You Have Say We have used our approach to develop highly customized kits for clients seeking particular products or specifications related to environmentally friendly materials, healthy home design, energy-efficiency and so on. If there are particular needs or vendors you would like us to work with, we can do so.
Opt-Out Flexibility As experts in project management and tendering, we know how to save you money. One example is that we may opt out of providing certain elements to our kits if we believe we can lock in a better “package” price for labour and materials from a qualified vendor directly to you. Examples may include insulation, garage doors and trim packages, stairs and rails, kitchen cabinets and vanities.
Lower Price
Our tendering background ensures that we can unlock the best prices possible for you.
Mix and Match Capability
Most vendors cannot readily mix and match building systems in a competitive manner. For example, you may be considering a hybrid home made of conventional lumber and large timbers. Our background in multiple building systems allows us to design, kit-up, and build this type of home while ensuring that you do not pay extensive surcharges.
Energy Star The Paragon kit includes windows and doors with Argon gas fill with energy efficient Low E coatings. Wall system with R25 insulation value on exterior walls. R50 attic insulation for less heat loss.
